Arsenal finished the 18/19 season of the Premier League in 5th place under then new manager Unai Emery. Arsenal was the first club from the South of England to join The Football League, in 1893, and they reached the First Division in 1904. Relegated only once, in 1913, they continue the longest streak in the top division, and have won the second-most top-flight matches in English football history. In the 1930s, Arsenal won five League Championships and two FA Cups, and another FA Cup and two Championships after the war. In 1970–71, they won their first League and FA Cup Double. Between 1989 and 2005, they won five League titles and five FA Cups, including two more Doubles. They completed the 20th century with the highest average league position.
This adidas kit is the first of a new er for Arsenal after their kit del with Puma expired in July 2019. The jersey is red with white sleeves with three white stripes on the shoulders, as the home kit draws inspiration from the early 1990s. The collar, which overlaps at the front, and the sleeve cuffs are white with navy and red striping, a look inspired by the iconic 1986 adidas kit.
This shirt is classic yet stylish and modern thanks to the navy details. This kit arrives on the 30th anniversary year of their historic league title win against Liverpool at Anfield in 1989. The lightweight fabric features Climalite technology that works to channel moisture away from the body helping you stay cool and dry.
