Nike, tying him to the brand “for life.” He’s been with the brand since 2003 and has done most of his career damage in their Mercurial brand boot. Here’s a look back at some of the biggest moments of his career with Nike.
2003 — Mercurial Vapor Ronaldo’s first set of Nike boots come in 2003 while playing for Sporting Lisbon in his native Portugal. The union between player and brand would soon become one of the world’s most recognizable.
